Norris Hill
Norris Hill has been an active mediator for the past 21 years. He has received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology at San Diego State University, and Master’s in Business Administration at Dallas Baptist University.
Training in Mediation with Dispute Mediation Service of Dallas, Family Dynamics Child Psychology at East Texas State University, Children’s Justice Act and Child Protective Service Mediation (CPS) at Southern Methodist University.
By profession he was a Hospital Administrator with Forest Ave Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Left the Health Care industry to become an Executive with Braniff International Airways based in Dallas, Texas.
Has done extensive work in Conflict Resolution and is an Adjunct Professor with Dallas Community College District (DCCCD). He has implemented Conflict Resolution training for inmates with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System, and has trained Middle and High School students in Peer Mediation in the Dallas Independent School District (DISD). Wilmer-Hutchins Independent School District, Indianapolis Public School and Charter School’s in Dallas/Fort Worth and taught Conflict Resolution skills to several religious groups in Texas.
President of Mediations Unlimited in Dallas, Texas where he is a court appointed mediator for the Dallas County District Courts and County Courts at Law. Some of his other clients include: Region 10 Educational Service Center, The University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School, Metro Charter Academy Arlington, South Bay Bright Future, Inc. and Dallas County Truancy Courts
In 1995 the Texas Legislative Black Caucus Education Committee awarded him “The Outstanding Texan Award”. His Professional Affiliations include: Member, Society of Professional in Dispute Resolution, Member ADR Section, State Bar of Texas, Texas Department of Criminal Justice Participatory Parole Division, the Dallas Football Officials Association, Metro Charter Academy Arlington, Dallas County Truancy Court and South Bay Bright Future, Inc of LA Calif.
